Marsha Orgill – Junior Researcher / Entry-level Lecturer

Background

Marsha Orgill is a Junior Researcher / Entry-level Lecturer in the Health Economics Unit. She recently completed a Masters Degree in Public Policy at the University of Cape Town and was awarded a distinction for her dissertation titled “Challenges facing the implementation of community and home-based early childhood development programmes for vulnerable children aged 0–4 years in the Western Cape and Eastern Cape, South Africa”. She is also a Public Policy Partnership Fellow.

Research interests: Health Policy Analysis and Early Childhood Development services (0-4).

Current research projects: Strengthening health policy and systems research methodologies and promoting sound teaching of such methodologies.
