Funding opportunities

Funding offered through the HEU

Various sources of funding provide support towards the cost of studying HEU post graduate courses in health economics at UCT. The HEU administers bursaries and fellowships for Masters, PhD and post-doctoral candidates:

  • NRF (National Research Foundation) South African Research Chair in Health and Wealth bursaries for Masters and Doctoral studies and funding for post-doctoral fellowships
  • WHO (World Health Organisation) bursaries for Masters studies
