The Health Economics Unit at the University of Cape Town was founded in 1990 by Professor Di McIntyre in collaboration with a number of public health specialists. 2010 marks the Unit’s 20th anniversary to look back and celebrate academic excellence in research, training, capacity-building and policy influence. Over the course of this year, we will plan events and publications to celebrate this time.
