An exciting, new project is scheduled to commence in 2011: the Consortium for Health Policy & Systems Analysis in Africa (CHEPSAA). This network will set out to extend sustainable African capacity to produce and use high quality Health Policy Systems research through building on synergies among a consortium of universities in Africa and Europe. An EC-funded project, CHEPSAA will be coordinated by Professor Lucy Gilson (contact Lucy.Gilson@uct.ac.za). Lucy runs the Health Policy & Health Systems Programme, which is housed here at the HEU.
