Congratulations message for Professor Lucy Gilson from the Director of the School of Public Health and Family Medicine (Professor Leslie London):

“Lucy Gilson received confirmation that her NRF rating re-application resulted in a B1 rating, which is up from her previous B3 rating. That is almost cosmic in the scale of NRF ratings – just short of being an A-rated scientist.  Well done, Lucy, well done. This is probably unprecedented that a social scientist in a (former) medical school has ploughed her way through those ratings in an NRF environment dominated by laboratories and natural sciences. It augurs really well for creating a critical mass of researchers and teachers engaged in Health Systems Research”.
