HEU Researcher/lecturer, Ms Sheetal Silal, has accepted a position in the Department of Statistics at the University of Cape Town. Sheetal has been with the HEU since 2007 during which she was awarded:

• 2nd prize for her poster at the annual Science Faculty Post-graduate research symposium
• 3rd prize at the 2009 SASA (Statistical Association of South Africa) Post Graduate Paper Competition
• MSc in operations research in development

We look forward to future collaborative work on the Researching Equity in Access in Health (REACH) project and postgraduate teaching modules.
